Bafang wielmotor

De Bafang voorwiel-motor is een systeem dat gemaakt is voor stadsfietsen. Deze motor gebruikt cortina in de E-U1, Common en de E-Foss. Deze fietsen zijn voorzien van een rotatie sensor in de trapas die ziet of er getrapt wordt. op dat moment gaat de motor draaien. Een eenvoudig, maar betrouwbaar systeem.

Cortina Ecomo system

This system is seen in the U4 and U4 family models. The system is very similar to the Bafang front-wheel motor systems, but is equipped with more motor power and a slightly more luxurious display.

Bafang M300 mid-motor

This motor is the most economical choice when it comes to a mid-motor.

A mid-motor is more efficient than a wheel motor because it also uses the gears in the rear wheel. If you ride away in a light gear, the motor also has an easier time. This is a system with only a rotation sensor (almost all mid-motors also have a pedal force sensor) and therefore does not adjust the support to the pedal force.

Bafang M420 mid-motor

The Bafang M420 mid-motor, unlike the M300, has a pedal force sensor.

This allows it to know how much force you are putting in and adjust its support accordingly. If you put in more force, it will support more and vice versa. This gives the feeling that you have a lot of control over the speed and force.

Shimano Steps mid-motor

The Shimano Steps engines are developed for sports bikes and you will notice this in the power that the engine can give, but the engine is also built sturdier.

The latter will ensure that the Steps engines will last even longer than the Bafang engines. The E-Mozzo model uses the Steps E5000 and the E6100 engine. The E6100 (60Nm) is even more powerful than the E5000 (40Nm). All Steps engines are of course equipped with pedal force sensors so that it senses how fast you want to ride.
